UK Teaching Role – Part-Time Teacher of Mathematics (0.4 FTE)
This vacancy is ideal for qualified teachers from overseas. Based in Birmingham, starting TBC, offering Part Time terms.
About the Role
The role involves developing learning schemes and resources for Mathematics, preparing and delivering lessons according to school/faculty plans, marking and assessing student work, monitoring progress, and providing interventions where necessary. Additionally, the role requires attending relevant meetings and contributing to the long-term development of the Faculty. A form tutor role may also be assigned.
Responsibilities
- Develop learning schemes and resources for Mathematics
- Prepare and deliver lessons according to school/faculty plans
- Mark and assess students’ work according to school/faculty policies
- Monitor student progress and provide interventions where necessary
- Attend and contribute to relevant meetings
- Contribute to the long-term development of the Faculty
- Participate in assigned year group and college team duties, including form tutoring (if appropriate)
