About the Role:
We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Secondary History Teacher to join our vibrant and high-achieving team in Hertfordshire from September 2025. The successful candidate will be passionate about History, committed to fostering a love of learning, and have the ability to engage and inspire students across Key Stage 3, 4, and 5.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality History lessons across Key Stage 3, 4, and 5.

• Plan, prepare, and assess lessons to ensure students are challenged and supported to reach their potential.

• Create an inspiring and inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and engagement.

• Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and support to help them achieve their academic goals.

• Contribute to the wider school community through extracurricular activities and collaboration with colleagues.

• Maintain a high standard of professionalism, both in teaching and in relationships with students, staff, and parents.

Key Requirements:

• A relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS).

• A strong passion for History and the ability to communicate this to students.

• Experience teaching History at secondary level (Key Stage 3, 4, and 5), or a strong desire to develop in this area.

• Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.

• A commitment to fostering a positive and supportive learning environment.
