About the Role:
- Teaching Social Sciences subjects (e.g., Psychology, Sociology, Criminology) to KS4 and KS5 students.
- Planning and delivering engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and academic excellence.
- Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback.
- Contributing to the development of the Social Sciences curriculum.
- Supporting and guiding students through their academic journey.
- Participating in school events, extracurricular activities, and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- A degree in Social Sciences or a related subject.
- Experience teaching Social Sciences at secondary level (preferred but not essential for ECTs).
- A passion for education and a commitment to student success.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dynamic team.
