Are you a passionate and creative Art & Photography Teacher looking for an exciting new opportunity? We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher to join our vibrant and supportive Art & Design department at a well-established secondary school in Slough.
About the Role:
As an Art & Photography Teacher, you will inspire and engage students across Key Stages 3, 4, and 5, fostering their creativity and technical skills. You will have the opportunity to teach a diverse and motivated student body, guiding them to develop confidence in their artistic abilities while preparing them for GCSE and A-Level Art & Photography.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Art & Photography

Encourage creativity and self-expression in a well-equipped department
β
Support students in developing strong portfolios for exams and further education
β
Use a variety of teaching methods to engage and challenge students
β
Contribute to extra-curricular activities, including art clubs, exhibitions, and trips
β
Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the departmentβs success
About You:
β Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
β Specialism in Art & Photography, with experience in digital and traditional media
β Strong knowledge of the GCSE and A-Level curriculum
β Passionate about inspiring young artists and photographers
β Ability to create an inclusive and dynamic learning environment
β Excellent communication and organisational skills
