Role and Responsibilities:

  • Teach Geography to students across Key Stage 3, 4, and 5 (GCSE and A-Level).

  • Create an engaging and inclusive classroom environment that motivates students to achieve their best.

  • Develop and deliver well-structured, creative, and innovative lessons that cater to diverse learning needs.

  • Regularly assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to support their academic development.

  • Contribute to the wider school community, including extracurricular activities and school events.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues within the Geography department and across the school to ensure a high standard of teaching and learning.

About You:

  • You hold a recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).

  • You have a strong subject knowledge of Geography and a passion for making the subject engaging.

  • You are an excellent communicator who can inspire and motivate students of all abilities.

  • You have experience teaching Geography at Key Stage 3 and 4; A-Level teaching experience is desirable.

  • You are committed to promoting inclusivity, diversity, and equal opportunities for all students.

  • You are eager to contribute to the wider school life and extracurricular activities.
