​### Job Opportunity: Geography Teacher (Relocate to England) - Islington, London

**Location:** Islington, London, United Kingdom

**Salary:** £34,502 - £44,756 per annum (dependent on experience)

**Contract Type:** Full-time, Permanent

**Start Date:** January 2025

#### The Role:

As a Geography Teacher at our school, you will:

- **Deliver Engaging Lessons:** Teach Geography across Key Stages 3 and 4 (with the possibility of A-Level) that inspire and challenge students.

- **Curriculum Development:** Contribute to the planning, development, and delivery of the Geography curriculum.

- **Student Support:** Monitor and support students' progress, providing guidance and advice to ensure every child achieves their full potential.

- **Collaborative Environment:** Work closely with colleagues to share best practices and contribute to the overall success of the Humanities department.

- **Extracurricular Activities:** Get involved in school trips, clubs, and other activities that enrich students' learning experiences.

#### What We're Looking For:

- **A UK Recognzied teaching qualification (BEd, PGCE or equivalent)

- **Experience:** Previous teaching experience in secondary schools is preferred, but newly qualified teachers (NQTs) are also encouraged to apply.

- **Passion for Geography:** A genuine passion for the subject and the ability to convey this to students of all abilities.

- **Commitment to Excellence:** High expectations for all students, with a commitment to helping them achieve their academic goals.

- **Adaptability:** The ability to adapt to a new teaching environment and the challenges of relocating to a new country.
