**Salary:** £32,000 - £44,000 per annum (depending on experience)

### **Role Overview:**

As a History Teacher, you will:

- Deliver engaging and innovative lessons across Key Stages 3 to 5, inspiring students to explore and understand historical events and their impact on the modern world.

- Develop and implement a curriculum that encourages critical thinking, debate, and a deep understanding of history.

- Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support to help each student reach their full potential.

- Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to the wider school community and participate in extracurricular activities, including trips to historical sites.

- Stay up-to-date with current educational practices and historical research, integrating this knowledge into your teaching.

### **What We're Looking For:**

- A qualified History Teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or an equivalent teaching qualification recognized in the UK.

- A passion for history and a proven ability to engage students in meaningful learning experiences.

- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to create a positive learning environment.

- Experience teaching history at secondary school level, with a strong understanding of the UK curriculum.

- A willingness to relocate to England and become an active member of the Camden community.

- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with colleagues, students, and parents.
