**Salary:** £28,000 - £42,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

**Contract Type:** Full-time, Permanent

**Key Responsibilities:**

- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging and inspiring music lessons to students aged 11-18.

- Develop and implement a diverse curriculum that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and a love for music.

- Lead and participate in extracurricular music activities, such as school concerts, choirs, and bands.

- Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and support to help them reach their full potential.

- Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

- Stay current with educational best practices and music teaching methodologies.

**Qualifications and Experience:**

- A recognized teaching qualification in Music (e.g., PGCE, QTS).

- Proven experience teaching music to secondary school students (ages 11-18).

- Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage and motivate students.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- A passion for music and education, with the ability to inspire students of all abilities.

- Willingness to relocate to Oxfordshire and contribute to the school community.
