Role and Responsibilities

As a Psychology & Sociology teacher, you’ll be responsible for:

- Delivering engaging lessons in subjects such as Psychology & Sociology to KS3 and KS4 students, possibly KS5.

- Fostering an inclusive, respectful, and curious classroom environment that encourages students to think critically and make connections across cultures.

- Utilizing creative and interactive teaching methods that cater to various learning styles.

- Collaborating with colleagues and engaging in professional development to continuously improve your teaching practices.

- Supporting students' personal and academic growth while encouraging a passion for the Humanities.

Qualifications and Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Psychology/Sociology, Education, or a related field.

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an international equivalent. Support to obtain QTS may be available for the right candidate.

- Proven experience teaching Social Science subjects, ideally with familiarity in the UK or international curricula.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with an enthusiasm for working in an internationally diverse environment.
