The Role:

As a Chemistry Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially 5.

  • Foster a love of Chemistry by creating an interactive and stimulating learning environment.

  • Assess, track, and support students’ progress to help them achieve their full potential.

  • Collaborate with colleagues in the Science Department to develop innovative teaching resources and strategies.

  • Contribute to the broader life of the school through extracurricular activities and events.

About You:

The ideal candidate will:

  • Hold a degree in Chemistry or a closely related subject.

  • Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualifications.

  • Have experience teaching Chemistry at secondary level, including GCSE and A-level (preferred).

  • Be passionate about Chemistry and able to communicate this enthusiasm effectively.

  • Demonstrate excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills.

  • Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
