The Role:
As a Chemistry Teacher, you will:
Deliver engaging and challenging lessons across Key Stages 3, 4, and potentially 5.
Foster a love of Chemistry by creating an interactive and stimulating learning environment.
Assess, track, and support students’ progress to help them achieve their full potential.
Collaborate with colleagues in the Science Department to develop innovative teaching resources and strategies.
Contribute to the broader life of the school through extracurricular activities and events.
About You:
The ideal candidate will:
Hold a degree in Chemistry or a closely related subject.
Possess Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualifications.
Have experience teaching Chemistry at secondary level, including GCSE and A-level (preferred).
Be passionate about Chemistry and able to communicate this enthusiasm effectively.
Demonstrate excellent classroom management and interpersonal skills.
Be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of students.
