About the Role:
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate and dedicated Secondary Chemistry Teacher to join a thriving school in Berkshire. We are seeking an enthusiastic educator who can inspire and engage students, fostering a love for Chemistry while ensuring excellent academic outcomes. This role is suitable for both experienced teachers and Early Career Teachers (ECTs) looking to develop their careers in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and deliver high-quality Chemistry lessons to KS3, KS4, and potentially KS5 students.
Foster a stimulating and engaging learning environment that supports student progress.
Assess and monitor student development, providing feedback to enhance learning outcomes.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine the curriculum.
Participate in extracurricular activities and school events to enrich the student experience.
Maintain high standards of classroom management and student behaviour.
Requirements:
A relevant degree in Chemistry or a related field.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
Experience teaching Chemistry at secondary level (preferred, but not essential for ECTs).
Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education.
Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
