PSHE Teacher (Personal, Social, Heath & Economic Education)

We are now seeking a passionate and dedicated PSHE (Personal, Social, Health, and Economic Education) teacher to join our dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality PSHE lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, ensuring the curriculum is engaging and relevant.

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive PSHE curriculum, in line with national guidelines and the school’s ethos.

  • Foster a positive, inclusive learning environment that supports students' personal and social development.

  • Encourage students to reflect on their own wellbeing, relationships, and the wider world around them.

  • Promote understanding of key themes such as mental health, relationships, citizenship, and personal responsibility.

  • Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to students and parents.

  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to support the development of the whole-school wellbeing strategy.

Person Specification:

  • Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.

  • A passion for PSHE and its impact on student development.

  • Experience teaching PSHE at secondary school level (preferred but not essential).

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students effectively.

  • Ability to work well within a team and contribute to a collaborative school environment.

  • A commitment to the welfare and safeguarding of students.
