Position Overview:
We are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and passionate Social Sciences teacher to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be committed to delivering high-quality lessons in subjects such as Sociology, Psychology, and Politics, and will inspire students to achieve their best while fostering an appreciation of the social sciences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging lessons in Social Sciences to students across Key Stage 3, 4, and 5.

  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans, assessments, and activities tailored to diverse learning needs.

  • Support and mentor students, providing academic guidance and pastoral care.

  • Encourage critical thinking, discussion, and independent learning within the classroom.

  • Participate in extra-curricular activities and school events as needed.

  • Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum development and teaching practices.

  • Ensure students’ progress is regularly tracked and communicated with parents.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have:

  • A degree in a relevant subject (e.g., Sociology, Psychology, Politics, or a related field).

  • QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent teaching qualification.

  • Proven experience teaching Social Sciences at Key Stage 3, 4, and 5 (desirable but not essential).

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage students effectively.

  • A passion for Social Sciences and the ability to inspire students to appreciate the subject.
