An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and dedicated Business and Economics Teacher to join our thriving secondary school in Bedfordshire. We are seeking a passionate educator who can inspire students and foster a love for business and economic studies. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Key Stages 4 and 5, delivering engaging lessons that equip students with essential skills for their academic and professional futures.
Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver high-quality lessons in Business and Economics in line with the curriculum.
Inspire and challenge students to achieve their full potential.
Assess, track, and report on student progress, ensuring effective learning outcomes.
Create a stimulating and supportive learning environment.
Contribute to the development of the Business and Economics department.
Engage in extracurricular activities and wider school initiatives.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for a motivated teacher with:
A degree in Business, Economics, or a related subject.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
Experience teaching Business and/or Economics at GCSE and A-Level/ equivalent
A passion for teaching and a commitment to student success.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
The ability to work effectively as part of a team and contribute to departmental growth.
